Travel vaccines

Yellow fever & typhoid

Yellow fever vaccine (Stamaril) is ordered per unit and requires advance notice — tell us how many doses you need ahead of time. It must be given at least 10 days before travel: protection begins on day 10 and then lasts for many years. If you are traveling to South America or Africa, check whether your destination requires the international certificate of vaccination.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an appointment?

No. Once your vaccine is in stock you simply walk in during clinic hours and our nurses administer it. No doctor's visit required.

Why is a deposit required?

Vaccines are ordered on demand to guarantee the cold chain. A 50% deposit places your order and the vaccine is ready within 24 hours.

Is the injection fee included?

Yes. All prices are per dose and include administration and documentation in your vaccination record.

Will my U.S. school or employer accept the record?

Yes. You receive an official record signed by a board-certified infectious disease physician, with license numbers, valid as proof of immunization.

Do you speak English?

Yes. Dr. Gómez Ponce and staff attend patients in English.

Which bridge should I cross?

The Ysleta–Zaragoza port of entry is the closest crossing to our clinic. From the bridge it is roughly a 20-minute drive to Plaza Sendero, depending on traffic. Parking is available on site.

Can I pay in U.S. dollars?

Yes. We accept U.S. dollars, Mexican pesos and cards. The exact amount in dollars is confirmed before you pay.
